About our exciting opportunity
- Responsible for installing fibre to the property before the install takes place
- Knowledge of Openreach/County Broadband specs.
- underground this may be slot trenching across a customer’s garden or if Open reach duct to the property making sure fibre is coiled in a safe location
- Overhead would be feeding our fibre from County Broadband pole/Open reach pole, feeding the fibre to customers' property, and tacking fibre and leaving coiled in a safe location
- Be able to pinpoint blockages or if any other civils are required and make sure the pole can be used and if any tree cutting is required for line of sight
- When the company requires helping the install team to complete installs and supporting the wider team
- Making sure all tooling/vans are in good working order
- Rod and rope or pulling in subduct/cable on every job
- Correct equipment/stores to complete tasks
- Completing necessary online forms per company requirement
- Be able to manage customers ’ expectations
Your skills and experience
- Open Reach Under Ground and Over Head
- Sign lighting and guarding
- Qualified to use a MEWP
- Practical knowledge of installs
- Basic IT skills
- Basic civils knowledge
- Clean driving licence
- Team player
- Qualifications – NRSWA Operative, SA007, SA008, SA001, SA002, QU020, QO19
